Dr Nadine Taylor, PharmD
Nadine Taylor completed her undergraduate degree at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1990. She then completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy in 1998 and is currently licensed in the state of Maryland. She has worked in the following diverse aspects of pharmacy: NeighborCare retail/long-term care pharmacy and medical information. Most recently she has worked in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in the following therapeutic areas: anti-infectives, asthma, COPD, headache disorder, depression, overactive bladder, osteoporosis, anticoagulantion and allergy. Nadine is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the American Pharmacists Association.
Dr Rodney H. Taylor, PharmD
Rodney Taylor completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy in 1997 and is currently licensed in the state of Maryland. He has worked in the following diverse aspects of pharmacy: Giant Food retail pharmacy, Kaiser Permanente specializing in anti-coagulation management and Advance PCS specializing in pharmacy benefit management. Most recently he has worked in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in the following therapeutic areas: anti-infectives, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, heart failure, anti-coagulation, osteoporosis, GERD and post-myocardial infarction care. Rodney is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the American Pharmacists Association. Nadine and Rodney have a passion for helping others, actively participating within their community. We created Rx Tour, LLC out of this passion. Our goal is to provide personalized services within assisted living facilities by evaluating each resident and maximizing medication therapy while minimizing risk.
Terri L. Peters, R.Ph., PD,
Terri is an Ambulatory Care Clinical Hospital Pharmacist, Compound Pharmacist/Pharmacy Owner, Health coach for weight loss and an Associate Professor for Experiential Education for Howard University Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates. In 2013, Terri was elected to Co-chair the Pharmacy Advisory Committee to develop a Board approved pharmacy technician program at her daughters’ high school, Elizabeth Seton College Prep Catholic High School. She is a member of the Prince George’s County Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and Co-chair of the coalitions Health Committee. Terri is also a member of the Prince George’s County Health Coalition.
In January of 2020, Terri was asked to be the pharmacy manager of the Ambulatory Care pharmacy at University of Maryland Laurel Medical center and three months later per the Governors order, turned the pharmacy into a full service hospital pharmacy to serve the state in treating Maryland Covid-19 patients.
In 2008, Terri opened Quality of Life Pharmacy & Health Inc. with her husband, Pharmacist Roderick G. Peters to be on the forefront of improving patient outcomes through Specialty Compounding and Disease Management. Her specialty is Custom Medication compounding for Women’s Health, Hormone Replacement therapy, Diabetes Management, Pain Management, Weight Loss Management, Vitamin Supplementation and Medication Therapy Management.
Roderick G. Peters, R.Ph-PD,
Roderick is a Clinical Hospital Pharmacist, Compound Pharmacist and Pharmacy Owner. He is a Health coach for weight loss, Diabetes, Hypertension, and other Medical health related issues. He Also participates in pharmacy education as an Associate Professor for Experiential Education for Howard University Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates. In 2014, Roderick was appointed as a Commissioner to the Maryland Board of Pharmacy (Maryland Department of Health) and is also an associate life member of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. During his 5 years as a Maryland board Commissioner, he served as chair of the Practice Committee, served as a National Delegate, Served as NABP Item writer for the MPJE pharmacy law question pool and represented the Maryland board nationally as the Vice Chair of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Mid-Atlantic region. In 2019, Roderick was elected to the Board of Directors as treasurer of the National Pharmaceutical Association
Tecoya Farrakhan, PharmD
Currently, Dr. Farrakhan is the Dispensary Manager/Clinical Director at Curio Wellness of Timonium, a wellness center and spa specializing in medical cannabis education and support. At Curio, Dr. Farrakhan helps guide patients who are looking for natural, alternative healing methods and strategies to support their various health and wellness journeys. She truly believes every “body” is different and will require different approaches to wellness.
Dr. Farrakhan has over 17 years of pharmacy industry experience including retail medical cannabis dispensary management, pharmacy benefit management, managed Medicaid, private health insurance, population health management, and community (retail) pharmacy.
Dr. Farrakhan received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Pharmacy and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business. She is a licensed pharmacist in the State of Maryland. She also received her health coaching credentials from the Institiute of Integrative Nutrition, the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, and the T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutrition Studies.
Karriem A. Farrakhan, PharmD, MBA
Dr. Karriem Farrakhan is a successful, serial entrepreneur with more than seventeen years of pharmacy experience and thirteen years of entrepreneurship/business ownership. He is currently the operating Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Primo Pharmacy Services, LLC., a minority-owned, pharmacy staffing firm, and co-owner and co-founder of Wellness to a T, LLC., a wellness company owned and operated by his colleague, partner and wife, Dr Tecoya Farrakhan.
Dr. Karriem Farrakhan graduated and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy in 2003. He also received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 2004. Dr. Farrakhan, along with his wife, launched Primo Pharmacy Services in 2007. From October 2007 until July of 2020, Dr. Farrakhan also worked in a full-time clinical pharmacy manager role under Primo supporting the State of Maryland Medicaid program and their pharmacy benefit management company. In July 2020, Dr. Farrakhan resigned from his post of thirteen years to focus 100% on the next stage of Primo’s growth and expansion efforts. He is also working on the creation of a few new opportunities (a couple are in the cannabis industry) and hopes to launch at least one of them before the end of 2020. Additionally, Dr. Farrakhan is also one of the first 150 students selected to participate in the inaugural class in the Masters of Cannabis Science and Therapeutics program offered by the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy. He will graduate in May 2021.
Dr. Christoper Keeys is Co- Founder and President/CEO of Clinical Pharmacy Associates and MedNovations, Inc and holds adjunct faculty appointments at the Howard University College of Pharmacy, and University of MD School of Pharmacy. Dr. Keeys is a graduate of Howard University (BS, Pharmacy) and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy). He is a registered pharmacist and board certified in pharmacotherapy. He actively practices or manages medication management services across the health care continuum and serves as a consultant to health care organizations and payors. He serves as a member and or consults with the Pharmacy Advisory Group, URAC, BCBSA FEP, AIDS Drug Assistance Programs, and is President of the Drug Utilization Review Board for the District of Columbia, DHCF. He actively lectures, publishes and mentors in the areas of pharmacotherapy, HIV/AIDS and interdisciplinary practice, pharmacy leadership, clinical quality improvement and telepharmacy. In 2017, he was named the Small Business Person of the Year for Maryland by the Washington Metropolitan District Office. In 2019 he was awarded the Bowl of Hygeia award by the National Community Pharmacists Association.
Dr. Lenore Coleman received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed an ASHP approved residency in Ambulatory Care at the USC School of Pharmacy. Dr. Coleman has been a practicing pharmacist for over 36 years and has worked as a clinical pharmacist in Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, Long Term Care, and Community Pharmacy settings. Within each of these practice settings, Dr. Coleman has focused on the care and management of people with diabetes. Dr. Coleman holds the title of Adjunct Professor, Xavier College of Pharmacy. A Certified Diabetic Educator of 18 years, Dr. Coleman provides education and drug therapy management to ethnic populations nationwide. Dr. Coleman is currently the Executive Director and Founder of Total Lifestyle Change, Inc. (TLC), a non‐profit service organization dedicated to eliminating health care disparities in ethnic populations www.tlc‐global.org. As part of TLC Dr. Coleman has open a Wellness Center based in Jonesboro Georgia. She has developed Project FAITH and Operation DETECT: A Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program for Faith‐Based and Community‐ Based Organizations. Dr. Norris Turner is the Principal of Turner Healthcare Quality (THCQ) Consulting, LLC. THCQ Consulting helps biopharmaceutical clients identify prioritized payer and provider customer pain points and opportunities to be able to better "stand in their customers’ shoes." Norris helps advise clients on health care quality and the external value-based care environment to powerfully inform internal business strategy and position the company to achieve its market access goals. For over twenty years, Norris worked in the biopharmaceutical industry as an executive for Pfizer, Purdue Pharma, and Johnson & Johnson. His vast experience stretches across clinical development, medical affairs, and market access/quality. Prior to launching THCQ Consulting, he worked as a senior executive at a non-profit, quality measure development organization, Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA), in the Washington D.C. area. In this role, Norris led efforts involving a diverse range of healthcare stakeholders and organizations that included commercial and public payers, technology vendors, pharmacy, and biopharmaceutical companies. His extensive professional background and education includes doctoral degrees in clinical pharmacy (Pharm D.) from The University of Michigan and pharmaceutical chemistry (Ph.D.) from the University of California San Francisco. He also has a Health Policy Educational Certificate from Thomas Jefferson University School of Population Health. Norris’s unique collection of experiences positions him well to deliver meaningful value to biopharmaceutical clients, and ultimately to the payer and provider customers they serve.

Dr. Martez Prince began his pharmacy career at the age of 16 as a pharmacy clerk at an independent pharmacy before attending Florida A & M University, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2010 with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Upon Graduating, Dr. Prince relocated to Charlotte, NC, to work for a big-box retailer as a community pharmacist where he excelled amongst his peers in service and helping patients achieve their wellness goals. After identifying corporate barriers that prevented Dr. Prince from impacting the patients in the manner he always envisioned, he decided to make his corporate exit to launch Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center, an independent pharmacy with the community at its forefront. Dr. Prince created a model that would earn him many awards in the area of pharmacy, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, as well as the attention of Media Mogul Oprah Winfrey, who quoted his work as "A model for the country'. In addition to his role as the CEO of Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center, Dr. Prince serves on multiple community boards in addition to his role as Chairman of The Premier Foundation of NC in which he also founded in 2015 as a philanthropic arm to Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center. The Premier Foundation has provided over $100,000 in scholarships and services to the community as an effort to level the playing field. Dr. Ndidi Ihim, is a pharmacist turned entrepreneur, published author of the books ‘Delete not Dispute!’ and ‘12 Steps to Building Business Credit’, and a real estate and stocks investor. She works in the financial services industry helping families looking to get out of debt in less than nine years achieve that unforeseeable feat. She has a global podcast that reaches forty million people around the world called Wealth Stay. She is engrossed in inspiring others to achieve their dreams of building wealth and equipping them to live life to the fullest by thoroughly changing the way they invest their time and energy. In 2013, she graduated cum luade with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas (TSU), a historically black college and university (HBCU).

Dr. Kesha O’Reilly is a Principal Medical Scientist with Gilead Sciences. She has over 15 years of experience in interpreting clinical information to help ensure medications are utilized effectively. Dr O’Reilly is a critical thinker who cultivates innovative strategies to align efforts in health systems and policies that improve access and health of individuals. She has vast experience with HIV and HCV management in correctional systems, U.S. Department of Defense and Native American healthcare systems. Prior to her position at Gilead, she managed multi-million dollar pharmaceutical budgets for state and government agencies. Dr. O’Reilly chaired the Maryland Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Committee whose responsibility is to develop policies and procedures that support and promote improved patient outcomes while minimizing inappropriate medication use. Dr. O’Reilly has developed, implemented, and managed a national- and state-certified Opioid Treatment program and alcohol detox program in Baltimore City Jail. As a first-generation Nigerian in America, Ify has strongly held on to her cultural roots and continues to use them as a tool to guide her in life. Growing up in a Nigerian household within the American society, Ify has struggled with balancing Nigerian rules and morals with American culture. Nonetheless, Ify views those "struggles" as a foundation for who she has become today.
After being crowned Miss Africa of Southwest Pennsylvania in 2011, Ify stumbled upon the blogging world with her sister and friends that really kicked off her social media presence.
